How does a nonprofit host stay running?

FreeMcHosting is a community-funded project. Support goes back into running the service and providing hosting, rather than generating profit.

Can I choose my version and add plugins?

Yes. You can choose from the Java versions and compatible server software offered in the dashboard. Plugin support depends on the software you select.

How many resources do I get?

Free Minecraft servers include 4 GB RAM and 10 GB storage. Check the dashboard for current node availability, allocation options and any additional limits before creating a server.

Is free Minecraft hosting available 24/7?

Yes. Your Minecraft server runs 24/7 while active. Keep up with renewal requirements in your dashboard. Availability is subject to maintenance and service interruptions, as described in our Terms of Service.
